The main responsibilities are to:

  • Set up detailed Mexico sales & marketing launch plan
  • Initiate Consumer Panel Research
  • Prepare/support distributor selection
  • Initiate retailer contacts (in cooperation with US sales team for US customers)
  • Set up Mexican commercial operation in Mexico
  • Support Supply Chain / Regulatory and Import set up
  • Achieve in-market sales targets
  • Drive the sales and marketing planning process
  • Identify opportunities, potential clients and provide leads to the partner
  • Monitor product availability
  • Ensure the correct trade dress
  • Follow-up with the partner on the provided leads and corrective actions
  • Ensure flawless execution of all in-market sales and marketing programs
  • Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of competitor products
  • Motivate the local partner / team and be a driver of sales & marketing initiatives
  • Regularly liaise with US Marketing & Sales Department to identify

Perfil del candidato

Bachelor Degree. More than 8 years experience in sales and marketing roles, at senior levels. Fast moving consumer branded goods background, with proven business development experience in setting up office and operation in Mexico for big brands. Understanding of and existing relations with the Mexican retail and wholesale environment. Previous use and understanding of retail audit data reports (e.g. Nielsen). Entrepreneur, self-starter, flexible, willingness to travel (US). Fluent in Spanish and English.
