Descripción de la vacante

The main responsibilities are:

  • Monitor the performance of portfolio loan transactions and advice of the company's management of all relevant matters, especially as they may affect a borrower's repayment capacity
  • Collect, analyze, develop and adapt performance data for assigned portfolio projects, including but not limited to financial, technical, managerial, environmental and macroeconomic parameters
  • Verify compliance with contractual conditions prior to disbursement of the funds
  • Verify compliance with all contractual conditions of assigned transactions
  • Maintain continuous contact with clients to ensure timely receipt of payments, company financial information and reports
  • Prepare and process waivers and amendments to transactions as required
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and files for assigned transactions
  • Prepare periodic supervision reports for each portfolio project according to the company's supervision report format
  • Become familiar with the policies and procedures; and in the use of the MIS
  • Collect and analyze information and data needed to prepare periodic environmental and social compliance reports
  • Perform financial analyzes of proposed transactions and portfolio loans as directed
  • Provide analytical support to the Risk Officer
  • Perform such other duties as assigned by the c management from time to time

Perfil del candidato

At least 5-8 years experience in a financial institution with a proven track record of evaluating complex financial transactions. MBA, with a concentration in finance, from an institution of high standing. Strong financial and credit skills with proven track record of analyzing financial and accounting data. Ability to understand legal terms and covenants of loan documents. Strong client relationship skills. Sound business judgment. Strong inter-personal skills and ability to interact directly and independently with the senior management of clients, financial partners and colleagues. Ability to think independently, analyze problems and identify appropriate solutions. Self-starter with excellent organizational, administrative and time management skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to meet tight deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and Spanish. Possess a valid work permit.
