An Assistant Controller is required for a key role in the Accounting & Finance department of a leading industrial manufacturing organization. The role involves managing financial activities, ensuring compliance, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
  • More than 5 years of experience within financial reporting and accounting.
  • Advanced English knowledge is required.

Descripción

  • Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
  • Develop budgets and financial plans for the company
  • Assist in the company's financial planning and debt financing
  • Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems
  • Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs, and both team and organizational budgets
  • Oversee the production of monthly reports, financial statements, and cash flow projections
  • Work closely with auditing services to ensure correct and necessary practices are undertaken

Perfil buscado

A successful Assistant Controller should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional accounting designation (CMA, CGA, or CA)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and accounting software
  • Strong understanding of economic and banking processes
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong analytic and strategic planning skills
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
