Descripción

  • Support commercial teams with technical expertise to secure approvals from OEMs and utilities
  • Lead regional technical qualification and approval processes for new products
  • Identify technical and commercial growth opportunities through customers, networking, and industry events
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product services, R&D, marketing, and sales
  • Develop technical presentations, product briefs, and customer-facing materials
  • Represent the company in industry committees, standards bodies, and regulatory forums
  • Research market trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging technical requirements
  • Lead technical projects with universities, laboratories, and industry organizations
  • Act as a project lead for region-specific technical solutions and innovations
  • Travel extensively to support customers, partners, and industry initiatives (+50%)

Perfil buscado

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of industry experience, including 5+ years in technical leadership roles
  • Strong expertise in insulating fluids, base oils, or related power/utility applications
  • Experience working with transformer OEMs, utilities, or similar technical customers
  • Excellent communication skills across engineering, commercial, and executive levels
  • Strong relationship-building, project ownership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Active participation or familiarity with industry organizations and standards bodie
