We are seeking a Senior CNC Machining Engineering Expert with deep expertise in advanced machining processes and industrialization within the automotive sector. This position plays a crucial role in developing machining projects from scratch in Mexico, including process definition, technical validation, and future automation of production cells. This is a hands-on technical leadership role.

As a CNC Machining Engineer you will play a key role in leading the development of machining projects and ensuring technical excellence. In this role, you will:

  • Define and develop CNC machining processes, including advanced turning technologies.
  • Lead the implementation and validation of automated machining cells.
  • Select and define machinery, tooling, and production means.
  • Support the industrialization of new projects from concept to production launch.
  • Manage international project transfers and adapt processes to local operations.
  • Validate technical parameters and ensure process robustness beyond standard operation.
  • Collaborate with automation suppliers and cross-functional teams to enhance production capabilities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and technical performance.

Perfil buscado

The successfull CNC Machining Engineer will:

  • Bring 15-20 years of experience in CNC machining within automotive Tier 1 or Tier 2 environments.
  • Demonstrate strong expertise in automated machining cells and advanced CNC technologies.
  • Have solid knowledge of FANUC and Siemens controls, as well as advanced CNC lathes.
  • Show proven experience in project industrialization and international transfers.
  • Apply strong technical judgment in process validation and parameter definition.
  • Be capable of working autonomously with high technical credibility and influence.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and hands-on floor-oriented mindset.
  • Possess advanced English communication skills for global collaboration.
