  • Compliance program development in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Managements of policies and procedures.
  • Risk assessment, mitigation and implementing strategies in this regard.
  • Provide expert advice on diverse legal issues pertaining compliance matters.
  • Monitoring and reporting of any modifications to regulations and industry standards that impact the operation.
  • Develop and implement compliance training to educate employees and create awareness.
  • Conduct internal audits, monitor policy and procedure compliance adherence, investigate potential violations.
  • Prepare incident reports and provide guidance, corrective and preventive actions of compliance related incidents.
  • Evaluate and monitor compliance risk related to vendors, ensuring they adhere to the organization policies and regulatory requirements.

Perfil buscado

A successful Compliance Officer should have:

  • 5 - 8 years of experience related to compliance and management of policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of legal requirements and controls (e.g. Anti-Money Laundering, or AML).
  • Experience in a real estate / property environment, with a focus on compliance, operational risk, or auditing.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Integrity and professional ethics.
  • Business acumen.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail.
