Key responsibilities include:* Ensure accurate balance sheet reporting through detailed periodic reviews of all legal entities within the Region. Drive BS agenda by sharing and implementing best practices, highlighting the risks and following up on issues with respective country FM who remains ultimately responsible for BS data.
* Establish central Treasury governance, proactively manage and minimize Foreign Exchange exposure.
* Overall management of the periodic audit process for all entities within the Latam Region to ensure all audits are completed timely and at the correct expense.
* Act as technical accounting expert to support finance teams within the Region and be the point of contact with the Medical Services finance team on any accounting matters.
* Active coaching of all functional reports on best practices within the Group
* Maintain internal control environment aimed towards strict compliance with IFRS, statutory accounting rules and Group policies and procedures.
* Drive governance around accounting function in Latam Region.
* Review and continually improve revenue and cost recognition processes, ensure appropriate communication of changes across all departments.
* Set the goals and highlight the risks around accounting function (BS exposure, processes and structure).
* Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects upon request from VP Finance including due diligence and business planning for future acquisitions, set-up of new entities and direct support to sub-locations as required.
* Monthly Reporting to the management regarding progress updates on key risks and developments (MMR Specialist Report).
* Manage external accounting vendors to ensure they are producing accurate results, timely and costs are managed.

Regional FC Latam in his capacity will also perform direct FC role for some countries, which will include:
* Balance Sheet control, including regular reviews and follow ups
* Compliance (including GAPP and other key company policies and procedures)
* Financial support for major tenders

Perfil buscado

* Minimum 5 years of working experience with at least three year's experience of regional accounting and reporting responsibility or equivalent, preferably in a multi-national organization with revenue of at least US$50 million.
* Experience in a fast pace, multi-national organization, ideally within the professional services industry.
* Experienced in supporting operations in developing countries, diverse nationalities and cultures.
* Exposure to dealing with Customers, Banks, Auditors, Legal advisors, Suppliers.
* Exposure to dealing with senior executive and operational management teams.
* English and Spanish language skills (oral and written) an absolute must. Portuguese language ability is a
significant advantage.
* Due to the senior nature of the position you will be required to work outside office hours as and when
required for operational reasons.
* Regional and International travel required periodic.
