This role as a Controller in the Transport & Distribution industry is ideal for someone with a strong background in Accounting & Finance and a passion for precision. The position offers an opportunity to oversee AR, AR and R2R financial processes and contribute to the success of the organization.
  • Lead AP, AR, R2R and reporting for North America operations.
  • Own accounting processes in a dynamic, hybrid role in CDMX.

Descripción

  • Explain and mitigate balance sheet exposures to CFO.
  • Manage escalations in ATR, OTC, PTP processes.
  • Monitor and report KPIs.
  • Support execution teams with business visibility.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with the company´s control framework.

Perfil buscado

A successful Controller should have:

  • Education: Bachelor's in Accounting (Master's is a plus).
  • Experience: 5+ years in accounting; ideally in SSCs. 15+ years of experience overall.
  • Systems: SAP (implementation experience preferred), legacy systems (Dynamics, NetSuite, Pace).
  • Technical Knowledge: OTC, PTP, ATR, US GAAP, internal controls, external audit. Strong knowledge of US GAAP regulations and standards.
  • English: Advanced (B2-C1); near-native required.
  • Soft Skills: Senior stakeholder management, strategic & operational thinking, clear and objective communication, leadership without authority.
