The Cost Accountant Manager will be responsible for managing and analyzing manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and standard costing processes. This role plays a critical part in supporting plant operations, financial performance, and margin optimization, with strong interaction across engineering, quality, production, and operations teams.

Descripción

  • Manage and analyze manufacturing costs, including labor, overhead, and material costs.
  • Calculate and maintain standard costs, including annual standard cost roll-up.
  • Own the cost portion of the P&L, from COGS to Cost of Sales and Gross Margin.
  • Analyze absorption vs. planned production and explain variances.
  • Perform cost allocation, variance analysis, and cost control activities.
  • Manage inventory valuation, cycle counts, and annual physical inventories.
  • Understand and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) in the ERP system.
  • Prepare and analyze cost-related financial reports and account reconciliations.
  • Work closely with plant teams (engineering, quality, production) and spend significant time on the shop floor.
  • Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.



Perfil buscado

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing cost accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of standard costing and manufacturing cost structures.
  • Experience with inventory management and plant environments.
  • Previous experience in coordinator or supervisory roles preferred.
  • Ready to take the next step toward a management position.
  • ERP experience required (Oracle preferred; SAP or similar acceptable).
  • Advanced English
