We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR operations at a key manufacturing site in Mexicali. This role is instrumental in implementing corporate HR strategy locally, fostering a positive organization, and ensuring alignment with business objectives through strong leadership and people practices.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Implement the company's People Strategy to support business performance and workforce engagement at both site and country level.


  • Develop and execute local HR policies and programs in collaboration with global Centers of Excellence (COEs) and regional HR leadership.


  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment.


  • Lead employee relations and labor relations matters, including negotiations and compliance with local labor laws.


  • Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and company requirements related to human resources.


  • Drive the implementation of organizational planning, talent development, compensation, benefits, onboarding, and lean HR practices.


  • Serve as a trusted advisor to site leadership and management teams on HR matters and change management.


  • Facilitate change by creating and executing effective change management strategies.


  • Lead HR initiatives including performance management, training programs, succession planning, and employee engagement.


  • Monitor and enhance Reward & Recognition cycles to maintain employee motivation.


  • Oversee compliance and continuous improvement across all HR processes in Mexico.


  • Support the hiring process for staff-level roles, ensuring alignment with company standards and workforce planning.


  • Coordinate resource planning including vacation schedules, overtime, and leave management.


  • Ensure implementation and adherence to health, safety, and internal regulatory standards.


  • Leverage HR data analytic tools to provide workforce insights and inform strategic decisions.


  • Lead Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) initiatives across the site.


  • Partner with leadership on internal communications strategies to ensure transparency and alignment.

Perfil buscado

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required).


  • 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles in a manufacturing or industrial setting.


  • Full bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required).


  • Strong knowledge of Mexican labor law and employment practices.


  • Broad HR generalist expertise including employee relations, compensation, organizational development, and training.


  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.


  • Proven ability to develop and implement policies, manage change, and support business transformation.


  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.


  • Analytic mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from HR data.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.


  • Experience in cultural transformation or turnaround environments.
