- Engaging with business and translating business needs and opportunities
- Developing strategic frameworks and capability roadmaps and identifying potential technology solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive transformational analytics and transform data assets into business-driven solutions
- Review the data lineage, govern growth and usage of data in a highly agile development environment
- Collaborate closely with the Data Governance organization to ensure an optimal integration of data sources
- Help build the Hershey's analytical eco-system by modelling data from source systems, integrated layer and data products using relational and big data technologies
- Lead business requirements discussions with internal customers to implement analytic solutions
- Help business to migrate from legacy solutions to new approved technology stacks
- Provide knowledge/experience to advice on appropriate data concept options suited for the business capability to be delivered
- Try new things and prove the value of your own ideas and innovations
- Drive continuous process improvement and innovation
Perfil buscado (Hombre / Mujer)
- Bachelor's degree with a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math focus. Master's degree or advanced certification a plus.
- 3+ years of experience participating in Data Engineering projects developing ETL/ELT processes in a cloud environment
- Experience participating in Data Architecture activities in a cloud environment is a plus
- Experience working in cloud environments preferably Azure and with Data Lake environments in big data scale, Azure Data Factory
- Fluent in English
- Strategic thinker with holistic vision, specific focus on identifying opportunities for automating existing manual processes to drive key business performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills and the ability to communicate complex technical topics with business management
- Experience with technologies such as BODS, SSIS, SQL.
- Experience in databases: Structured/Unstructured, NoSQL, Dimensional modeling, Data Warehouse, Data Integration, ETLs
- Experience leading internal or external resources working remotely is a plus
- Data science experience is a plus
- Experience with agile methodologies is a plus
- Proactive attitude
- Good communication skills and teamwork
