Descripción
- Maintain awareness of the latest environmental, health and safety laws and best management practices affecting plant operations.
- Develop EHS programs and procedures in response to new laws
- EHS protection changes and/or changes in operation.
- Develop and conduct training programs of safety and other EHS areas as required by law, and as appropriate to reduce EHS risk and liabilities.
- Ensure that plant operation changes are evaluated and altered to maximize EHS protection and comply with the law.
- Developed of comprehensive emergency response plans are developed and rehearsed, and that accident investigation lead to reduce incidents
- Represent the company and develop a positive working relationship with federal, state and local regulatory agencies.
- Prepare, submit and maintain records of required EHS. reports, registrations, applications, licenses, permits and notifications.
- Prepare schedule of projects EHS costs and projects, track EHS costs.
- Manage programs for industrial hygiene, medical monitoring, first-aid, safety, facility hazard communication and chemical tracking, handling and storage.
- Monitors, coordinates and oversees the Site Security Team to ensure the protection and safety of Company & vendor assets and optimum balance of protective levels, services and costs.
- Act as the assigned site's central contact for the management of all Security service support, protection initiatives and issue.
- Lead efforts in the investigation of criminal acts inappropriate behavior, or other incidents perpetrated against Garrett operations personnel or assets.
- Develops site-specific Security related goals and expectations that are in concert with Global Security's stated strategic Initiatives
- Ensure the EHS global compliance as well the timely implementation for new changes
- Participate as required, in the EHS global audits and assist others sites as well
- Coordinate the Medical Services on site and ensure the Medical directives are implemented in alignment with EHS global requirements and meeting the applicable local law
- Adherence on EHS Procedures and support initiatives.
- Ensure the execution of the EHS Strategies and Programs mandated from EHS global team
Perfil buscado (Hombre / Mujer)
- 10+ years of experience managing a team
- Extended knowledge in EHS Mexican Regulations
- ISO14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 50001:2018
- Advanced English is required
- Fire systems , Ergonomics, etc
