The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading and executing technical engineering operations in aerospace CNC machining. This role combines strategic planning, team leadership, and deep technical execution-including hands-on CNC programming with CATIA-to ensure timely delivery of high-quality machined components while driving standardization, growth, and continuous improvement across all processes.

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team in a hands-on and strategic role to ensure operational excellence in CNC machining and aerospace process development.

In this role, you will:



  • Manage and develop a high-performing team of CNC programmers, manufacturing engineers, tooling technicians, and support staff.


  • Lead engineering initiatives focused on process stability, cost-efficiency, and manufacturing scalability.


  • Define technical KPIs and develop documentation such as travelers, work instructions, and tooling configurations.


  • Program 4- and 5-axis CNC machines directly using CATIA V5 and oversee validation, first-article runs, and simulations.


  • Standardize and validate machining and assembly processes to meet AS9100, GD&T, and customer quality standards.


  • Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain for end-to-end process alignment.


  • Oversee RFQs including technical assessments for cycle time, raw material use, and tooling needs.


  • Lead tooling and fixture design, setup sheet creation, and technical troubleshooting on the shop floor.


  • Foster lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.

Perfil buscado

The ideal candidate for this Engineering Manager position will have a unique mix of deep technical knowledge, strong leadership, and strategic mindset, capable of scaling up CNC machining operations in an aerospace setting:



  • 10+ years in manufacturing, including 3+ years in technical management or engineering leadership roles.


  • Proven expertise programming CNC machines using CATIA V5, especially in 4- and 5-axis aerospace machining.


  • Strong background in manufacturing process development, including tooling, fixtures, and end-to-end process documentation.


  • Experience leading engineering teams and mentoring CNC programmers and manufacturing engineers.


  • Skilled in interpreting GD&T and blueprints, optimizing toolpaths, and ensuring precision machining.


  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or JobBOSS.


  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot in real-time and support floor operations directly.


  • Experience with RFQs and quoting for machined aerospace parts.


  • Commitment to Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and process standardization.


  • Intermediate to advanced English for documentation, communication, and technical drawings.
