The Finance & Controlling Manager Mexico is both the guardian and enabler of the company's financial performance. This role requires someone who is comfortable "rolling up their sleeves", mastering the details of reporting, forecasts, and business models, while also engaging at a strategic level with the General Manager, Local Management Team, shareholder CFOs, Company Board, auditors, and external partners.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience in similar positions.
  • Strong command of budgeting, forecasting, product costing, & variance analysis.

Descripción

  • At least 5 years in a senior finance role with full P&L, BS, cash management and high controlling exposure.
  • Proven experience in multinational or joint venture environments.
  • Deep knowledge of Mexican GAAP, IFRS, tax regulations, and fiscal compliance.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SAP system, and group reporting tools.
  • Act as a business partner to the General Manager and corporate CFOs, providing insight and financial guidance.
  • Strong experience managing outsourced financial operations.
  • High ethical standards, hands-on work style, and strong analytical mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and interface confidently with senior leadership.

Perfil buscado

A successful Finance & Controlling Manager should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in financial management within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools.
  • Leadership skills to manage and guide a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
