Oversees, analyzes, and executes all financial and accounting activities. This role serves as a strategic partner to plant and finance leadership, while also maintaining a strong, hands-on presence with operations, commercial teams, divisional leadership, corporate, and external auditors.
  • Acts as a business partner to plant and financial management teams.
  • Must be hands-on and highly interactive with finance operations.

Descripción

  • Leads the accounting department in alignment with GAAP
  • Overseeing staffing, budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Coordinates A/P, A/R, tax, and payroll functions.
  • Approves and directs payroll activities.
  • Ensures timely and accurate submission of required corporate reports.
  • Lead cost initiatives to identify cost overruns and savings opportunities, including product costing, departmental budgets, and inventory valuation.
  • Maintains the standard costing system and enforces internal financial controls.
  • Actively participates in plant leadership, contributing to decision-making, policy development, strategic planning, and plant initiatives.

Perfil buscado

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access Skilled in analyzing situations and responding with sound, timely decisions
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Proactive, hands-on team player with a positive, solution-oriented mindset
