The Financial Accounting and Reporting Manager will oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards within the engineering and manufacturing industry. This role requires expertise in managing financial processes and providing insights to support strategic decision-making in the SSC.

Descripción

  • Regional Scope SSC for USA, Canada, Mexico, Ireland
  • Experience of statutory financial reporting, under IFRS and local GAAPs.
  • Experience of Cash Management within in a complex international and multi-currency environment
  • Proven experience leading teams in a Shared Service or multinational environment.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of general ledger specialists
  • Oversee month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate journal entries and reconciliations
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements, SOX.

Perfil buscado

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Master´s degree or CPA is preferred.
  • English advanced
  • 10 years of experience in a financial accounting and reporting role, R2R, General Ledger, etc. Most recent role in a managerial position.
  • Experience with regional roles giving service to countries as US, Canada its a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards under IFRS, SOX Control and local regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems as SAP and Excel.
  • Experience in the engineering or manufacturing industry in a SSC is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
