We are seeking a Maintenance Manager with strong expertise in industrial machinery, PLC programming (Siemens), and hands-on technical leadership to join a high-impact manufacturing operation. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous production in a high-pressure, 24/7 environment. As a Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring operational continuity and technical excellence across the plant. In this role, you will:

  • Ensure the continuity and reliability of production lines by minimizing downtime and addressing mechanical and electrical failures.
  • Lead and actively participate in troubleshooting, including direct interaction with machinery, PLC connections, and minor programming adjustments (Siemens S7-1500/300).
  • Manage installation, commissioning, and startup of new equipment, supporting CAPEX investment projects.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs aligned with TPM and 5S methodologies.
  • Coordinate and develop a maintenance team of 10+ technicians, promoting both technical growth and operational discipline.
  • Optimize maintenance resources (CAPEX/OPEX) to improve efficiency and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industrial regulations.
  • Collaborate with global teams (including international stakeholders) requiring effective English communication.

Perfil buscado

As a Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring operational continuity and leading technical teams in a hands-on environment. In this role, you will:

  • Bring over 5 years of experience in maintenance within manufacturing, continuous production, FMCG, or automotive environments.
  • Demonstrate strong hands-on expertise in Siemens PLCs (S7-1500/300), including the ability to connect and perform minor programming modifications.
  • Possess a solid technical background in electrical, electronic, or mechatronic engineering (preferred).
  • Show proven experience managing teams of 10+ people while remaining actively involved in operations.
  • Have experience leading installation, commissioning, and startup projects for industrial equipment.
  • Apply strong knowledge of maintenance systems, mechanical/electrical diagrams, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Be familiar with ERP systems, TPM, 5S, and industrial safety standards.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, adaptability, communication, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
  • Be a hands-on leader capable of balancing technical execution and people management.
  • Possess advanced English level (C1) for effective communication with international teams.
