Descripción
The main responsibilities are:
- Take lead in special or unplanned projects utilizing PMP Project Management Tools.
- Work with Sales, Inside Sales, Material Technology and Supply Chain over required follow up to
- new products development
- Work with Material Technology, Operations and Supply chain in order to provide a proper follow
- up and feedback to process related trials.
- Investigate and document production quality issues
- Lead nonstandard metallurgical analysis as required
- Perform statistical process control protocols including SPC and Gage R&R studies
- Perform: Tensile testing, hardness testing, optical emission spectrometry, surface roughness examination, and metallographic preparation
Perfil buscado (Hombre / Mujer)
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required, Degree in Metallurgy is preferred. 5 years experience as a metallurgical engineer in the steel industry. Knowledge of production and processing of cold rolled steel including raw material, production processes and Customer expectations. Must have a knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. Advanced English is a must
