Descripción

  • Lead all plant operations: manufacturing, engineering support, quality, safety, and production planning.
  • Ensure on‑time delivery, capacity planning, and accurate execution of customer backlog.
  • Manage a mixed‑model environment:
  • Own the plant's P&L and drive cost‑reduction, productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (UL, NEC, ISO) and maintain a strong safety environment.
  • Oversee electrical testing, product validation, and documentation processes.
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives.
  • Recruit, train, and develop the plant's leadership team; build a high‑performance environment.
  • Coordinate production transfers and standardization with other sites across North America.

Perfil buscado

A successful Plant Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum 5 years leading a plant or multiple operational departments.
  • Required: experience in electrical equipment manufacturing, such as switchgear, switchboards, power distribution equipment, or engineered‑to‑order electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, ERP/MRP systems, electrical testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proven leadership in operational discipline, financial management, talent development, and change management.
