This role will drive supplier negotiations, process standardization, and cost optimization across multiple categories, while ensuring compliance with ISO standards and supporting operational efficiency in a dynamic logistics-driven environment.

Descripción

  • Lead and manage the procurement function across multiple categories (services, maintenance, CAPEX).
  • Transition purchasing from reactive to strategic sourcing.
  • Design and implement procurement processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Drive supplier negotiations and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Manage and develop a team of buyers
  • Oversee supplier performance, audits, and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and support OEA requirements.
  • Implement and track procurement KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Support digitalization and use of tools/AI in procurement processes.
  • Manage sourcing for logistics-related services, infrastructure, and operations.

Perfil buscado

  • Procurement Manager experience in logistics, industrial, retail, or 3PL/4PL environments.
  • Strong expertise in services procurement and supplier negotiations.
  • Proven experience in process creation and standardization.
  • Hands-on, operational and strategic mindset.
  • Experience managing procurement teams.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards (mandatory).
  • Experience with supplier audits and compliance.
  • Exposure to OEA or similar certifications (preferred).
  • Comfortable working in dynamic, unstructured environments.
  • Experience with ERP and digital tools (AI, cloud-based solutions).
  • Intermediate English communication.
  • Willing to relocate to Manzanillo and work on-site (Mon-Sat).
