Descripción

  • Lead and implement the Quality Management System for the manufacturing plant, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and enforce quality standards, metrics, and procedures to monitor and improve product and process quality.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues effectively.
  • Oversee quality audits, calibration programs, and statistical data analysis to predict and address trends impacting product quality.
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and customer teams to align quality requirements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Interact with customers and suppliers to resolve quality concerns and establish performance criteria.
  • Monitor vendor performance, establish rating systems, and define supplier quality requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental conservation practices (ISO 14001) and promote sustainable operations.
  • Report directly to the Quality Director, providing insights and recommendations on quality performance and improvements

Perfil buscado

A successful Quality Assurance Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • Over 10 years of experience in quality assurance systems implementation, with at least 5 years in a CQE/CQM role within an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise in managing technical manufacturing processes, such as automated assembly, injection molding, and electronics assembly (DC Motors preferred).
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certified, with a track record of driving business performance improvement.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to solve problems and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, customer-focused, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
