These projects are managed within the constraints of time, cost, quality, and safety.

Descripción

  • Support the Project Manager in ensuring contractual compliance by conducting follow-ups on subcontracting and purchasing processes.
  • Collaborate in implementing contract management processes to achieve complete control of the contractual cycle, adhering to company standards, anticipating disruptions, reducing contingencies, and improving response time and reporting.
  • Review contract procedures that require formal notices, time limitations, and other parameters to ensure a complete understanding and control of the obligations and rights involved.
  • Ensure the project team is fully aware of the constraints, conditions, and contractual environment. Oversee contractual guidelines and training to simplify and focus on the required procedures.
  • Prepare submissions for variation orders, claims for extensions of time, or recognition of extra costs or changes in scope in coordination with Project Managers.
  • Prepare reports on circumstances such as obstructions, disruptions, force majeure, delays, and other relevant impacts for internal or third-party submission.
  • Evaluate, follow up, and report on potential liquidated damages or claim scenarios within the contract framework.
  • Prepare or coordinate with the legal department on interpretations under the contract, preliminary actions on dispute management, procedural compliance for potential contractual and legal consequences, and potential terminations.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with the documentation of relevant contractual files

Perfil buscado

  • Legal degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in Energy, Engineering or Construction Companies in management of construction contracts in international environments.
  • * Fluent English and Spanish (writen and spoken)
  • * Renewable Energy contracts experience will be especially considered.
  • * FIDIC contract management experience shall be a plus.
  • * Additional law degree shall be very valuable.
  • * Computer literate (MS Office) / SAP & MsProject - Primavera are a plus.
