We are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Manager to build, lead, and scale the AP function within a Shared Services Center in Guadalajara. This position is key to the success of a regional migration strategy and requires strong leadership, hands-on execution, and deep expertise in AP operations and GBS environments.

Descripción

As the Senior Accounts Payable Manager, you will:

  • Lead the setup and consolidation of the Accounts Payable function for the Americas region
  • Oversee AP operations transitioning from other locations, including processes from multiple LATAM countries
  • Manage high-volume operations, with invoice volumes ranging from 120,000 to 320,000 annually
  • Build and lead a high-performing AP team, ensuring effective hiring, onboarding, and capability development
  • Act as the senior-most representative of the GBS function in Guadalajara, with close collaboration across Finance and regional leadership
  • Ensure efficiency, compliance, and standardization across AP processes
  • Drive and support the implementation and optimization of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, and Coupa
  • Maintain consistent, professional communication with key internal stakeholders across North America and Latin America

Perfil buscado

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in AP within a multinational or GBS setting
  • Currently in a Manager or Senior Manager role
  • Strong experience leading AP migrations, preferably from multiple LATAM countries
  • Proven record managing 20+ people
  • Experience with Coupa, SAP, Oracle and leading system implementation projects
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to influence and lead under pressure
  • Excellent communication in English; ability to interact with regional and global stakeholders
  • Holds a degree in a relevant field (Accounting, Finance, or similar); flexible if AP expertise is solid
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a hands-on leadership style
