The Senior Procurement Manager will lead the sourcing, procurement strategy, logistics, and trade compliance functions for the Mexico operations. This role owns supplier strategy, develops the procurement organization, and ensures supply continuity. This is a hands-on Sr leadership role for someone highly autonomous, with a strong sense of urgency and proven experience building teams and supplier strategies.

Descripción

Procurement & Sourcing Strategy

  • Define and execute procurement and sourcing strategies aligned with business growth.
  • Lead sourcing and supplier negotiations for electronic components, metal‑mechanical components, raw materials, and indirect spend.
  • Drive supplier development and commercial strategy across Mexico, the U.S., and Asia.
  • Optimize the supplier base focusing on cost, quality, delivery, and risk mitigation.



Logistics & Trade Compliance

  • Oversee logistics and trade compliance teams managing cross‑border transportation, imports, and exports.
  • Ensure compliance with IMMEX, CTPAT, OEA, and other applicable trade regulations.
  • Manage customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to support uninterrupted operations.



Leadership & Organization

  • Lead a procurement and planning organization including commodity managers, supplier quality, logistics, and trade compliance.
  • Build structure, governance, and accountability within a newly defined procurement organization.
  • Act as a strategic partner to Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance.

Perfil buscado

A successful Sr Procurement Manager must have:

  • 8+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain within manufacturing.
  • Minimum 5 years in a people management role, leading multi functional teams.
  • Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and procurement strategy.
  • Previous experience managing electronic and metal‑mechanical commodities.
  • Experience working with suppliers in Mexico, the U.S., and China.
  • Solid knowledge of trade compliance and import/export operations.
  • Advanced English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to work 100% on‑site
  • Highly autonomous, hands‑on leadership style with a strong sense of urgency.
