We are seeking a Plant Logistics Manager to lead logistics operations in a fast‑paced automotive manufacturing environment, ensuring efficient, reliable, and cost‑effective material flow across the supply chain. This role is critical to maintaining operational continuity, improving performance, and aligning logistics strategy with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

    • Lead end-to-end logistics operations, including inbound material flow, warehousing, inventory management, internal material handling, and outbound distribution of finished goods.
    • Ensure seamless coordination between sourcing, production, and distribution to maintain uninterrupted plant operations and meet production requirements.
    • Develop and execute logistics strategies to optimize service levels, inventory positioning, and cost efficiency across the supply chain.
    • Drive inventory accuracy and control through robust processes, cycle counting programs, and system alignment.
    • Manage transportation planning and execution, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery to customers.
    • Oversee warehouse operations, layout optimization, and material flow efficiency within the plant.
    • Lead and develop a large logistics team (approx. 100 FTE), setting performance objectives, coaching talent, and building a high-performance environment.
    • Establish and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, transportation partners, and key stakeholders.
    • Monitor and continuously improve key KPIs such as OTIF, inventory accuracy, warehouse productivity, and logistics cost performance.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, cost reduction, and digitalization of logistics operations.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, quality, and regulatory standards across logistics activities.
    • Support audits, customer visits, and cross-functional initiatives requiring logistics input and execution.
    • Leverage data analytics and ERP systems to generate insights, identify bottlenecks, and support decision-making.
    • Proactively identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid operational disruptions.
    • Act as a key liaison between plant operations and supply chain leadership, ensuring alignment and execution of business priorities.


Perfil buscado

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years in a managerial role within supply chain or logistics in Automotive sector (mandatory)
  • Strong experience managing end-to-end supply chain operations (sourcing, warehousing, transportation)
  • Proven track record leading large teams (~100 headcount)
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments with high operational complexity
  • Solid expertise in inventory management and control



Highly Desirable

  • Exposure to material planning processes
  • Basic understanding of customs and import/export operations
  • Experience driving continuous improvement and transformation initiatives



Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field

Master's degree is a plus

Languages Advanced English (mandatory)
