This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, delivering accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic insights to support business decision-making.

Descripción

  • Lead and develop the accounting team, overseeing daily operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation and timely filing of corporate tax returns with accuracy and integrity.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure adherence to corporate financial policies.
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, delivering accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure successful audits and compliance with standards.
  • Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to senior management, supporting strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Demonstrate strong command of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), tax compliance, and financial reporting standards.

Perfil buscado

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in accounting and taxation within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proven leadership experience of at least 5 years, managing teams and driving results.
  • Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Mexican tax legislation, IFRS, and local regulatory frameworks.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
