Descripción

  • Supervise and lead the General Accounting team, ensuring accurate execution of daily accounting activities, month-end close processes, and compliance with internal policies and deadlines.
  • Review and ensure the timely and accurate recording of accounting transactions, including accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and journal entries, supported by appropriate documentation and maintained within ERP.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with corporate reporting requirements.
  • Perform and review balance sheet account reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and coordinate corrective actions to maintain strong financial controls and data integrity.
  • Oversee fixed asset accounting processes, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and periodic reconciliations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Support internal and external audit activities by providing accurate financial information, maintaining proper documentation, and ensuring timely resolution of audit requests and findings.

Perfil buscado

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).
  • Advanced conversational English (non-negotiable).
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience within multinational organizations, including direct leadership of teams of 4+ employees.
  • Strong experience with IFRS and/or US GAAP reporting and compliance.
  • Proven experience leading and coordinating internal and external audits.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large-scale ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
  • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a high level of attention to detail.
