Descripción

  • Lead and execute the commercial and growth strategy for the Pulp & Paper business, ensuring short and mid-term sales objectives and profitability targets are met.
  • Act as a strategic partner to customers through a value-based, consultative approach, identifying opportunities via system diagnostics and deep process understanding.
  • Own key customer relationships, including price and volume negotiations, ensuring margin discipline and securing internal approvals when required.
  • Ensure continuity, sustainability, and growth of the existing business by anticipating customer needs and delivering consistent value.
  • Manage and control operating expenses, providing accurate business and market information to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a commercial team (direct and indirect), fostering high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Accompany key customer accounts through regular site visits.
  • Coordinate closely with internal planning and customer service teams to ensure accurate forecasting, pricing, registration data, and execution excellence.
  • Operate effectively in demanding industrial environments, maintaining strong relationships with clients in a highly selective and performance-driven industry.

Perfil buscado

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related; advanced English proficiency.
  • 6 -10+ years of proven experience in the Pulp & Paper industry (Packaging and/or Tissue), with a solid track record in commercial or area management roles.
  • Demonstrates deep knowledge of paper manufacturing processes and the ability to deliver value-based, consultative solutions in demanding industrial environments.
  • Has led and developed commercial teams, showing strong coaching skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to manage senior stakeholders and strong personalities.
  • Strategic business-oriented leader with experience in price negotiation, margin management, forecasting, and budget ownership.
  • Thrives in client-facing, high-pressure settings, with availability to travel and spend significant time on customer sites.
