Descripción

  • Lead the automation strategy and execution across two manufacturing sites (Mexico and the United States)
  • Drive standardization and scalability of automation processes across both plants
  • Manage automation projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timing, cost, and quality targets are met
  • Oversee PLC, HMI, SCADA, and control systems integration and optimization
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency, downtime reduction, and OEE improvement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements (especially within a life sciences environment)
  • Evaluate and implement new automation technologies and industry best practices
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the automation engineering team
  • Travel frequently between both locations to ensure alignment, implementation, and performance of automation initiatives

Perfil buscado

A successful Automation Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field)
  • +8 years of experience in automation within a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience leading automation projects and technical teams
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens preferred), HMI, SCADA systems
  • Experience with robotics, vision systems, and advanced manufacturing technologies is highly desirable
  • Solid understanding of industrial networks and control systems architecture
  • Experience in regulated industries is a strong plus
  • Advanced English level required
  • High level of adaptability, resilience, and willingness to travel frequently between Mexico and the U.S.
