Descripción

  • Lead all manufacturing activities within an Autonomous Production Unit, ensuring the achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
  • Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on improving OEE, labor efficiency, throughput, scrap reduction, and overall plant performance.
  • Promote a strong safety environment and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other functional teams to achieve operational objectives.
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and Kaizen methodologies to improve processes and reduce operational costs.
  • Lead problem-solving and root cause analysis activities to address production and quality challenges.
  • Manage departmental budgets, labor utilization, productivity metrics, and operational expenses.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor supervisors, team leaders, and production personnel.
  • Support customer satisfaction initiatives by ensuring on-time delivery, quality compliance, and successful audit performance.
  • Identify and execute strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.

Perfil buscado

Non-Negotiable Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in roles such as APU Manager, Business Unit Manager, Senior Production Manager, Operations Manager, or equivalent.
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong experience managing high-volume manufacturing operations and driving performance through KPIs.
  • Proven track record implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen, and Operational Excellence methodologies.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, labor costs, and productivity metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, decision-making, and change management skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency preferred.
