Descripción

The EHS Manager will lead all Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives for a manufacturing site, ensuring regulatory compliance, employee safety, occupational health, and environmental stewardship. This role will drive a strong safety environment, oversee medical and industrial hygiene programs, and support the site's continuous improvement strategy.

  • Lead all EHS programs, policies, and compliance activities.
  • Drive a zero-incident safety environment through risk assessments, training, and prevention initiatives.
  • Manage occupational health, medical surveillance, ergonomics, and employee wellness programs.
  • Oversee industrial hygiene and workplace exposure controls.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and reporting requirements.
  • Lead hazardous materials, chemical safety, and waste management programs.
  • Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage emergency preparedness, crisis response, and business continuity plans.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, HR, and Leadership teams to drive EHS performance.
  • Develop, coach, and lead the site's EHS organization.

Perfil buscado

A successful EHS Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
  • 8+ years of EHS experience within manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience in consumer goods, food & beverage, personal care, household products, or similar FMCG industries.
  • Strong background in industrial safety, occupational health, environmental compliance, and chemical management.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
