Descripción



The Finance Director will serve as the senior finance leader for the company's operations in Mexico, with responsibility for overseeing finance, accounting, tax, compliance, treasury, financial planning and analysis, internal controls, audit activities, cost accounting, and payroll oversight across multiple sites. Based in Monterrey, this position will report directly to global finance leadership and act as a key member of the regional leadership team.

The role is responsible for driving financial strategy, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and maintaining full compliance with local regulations and corporate policies. A critical focus will be preparing the organization for operation under Mexico's Large Taxpayer regime, including strengthening internal controls, supporting tax compliance, managing external advisors, and coordinating audit readiness initiatives.

As a strategic business partner, the Finance Director will work closely with operations, sales, and senior leadership to translate operational performance into financial insights, identify opportunities to improve profitability, support investment decisions, and contribute to the achievement of growth objectives. The position will lead budgeting, forecasting, KPI monitoring, profitability analysis, and long-term financial planning processes.

Additional responsibilities include managing cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and foreign exchange exposure, overseeing cost accounting activities, evaluating operational initiatives, and identifying efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities. The Finance Director will also be responsible for building and developing a high-performing finance team, driving continuous improvement initiatives, promoting automation and digitalization, and leveraging data analytics to support decision-making across the organization.

Senior finance executive with 10-15+ years of progressive leadership experience across finance, accounting, compliance, audit, taxation, FP&A, cost accounting, and treasury. Strong background partnering with operations and commercial teams to drive profitability, business growth, and strategic decision-making. Experienced in leading multi-site organizations, developing high-performing teams, and implementing robust financial controls in fast-growing environments.

Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, KPI management, investment analysis, cash flow optimization, working capital management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong operational finance exposure, particularly within manufacturing and industrial environments, with a focus on productivity, cost optimization, and operational efficiency

Extensive knowledge of Mexican tax regulations, including SAT compliance, transfer pricing, CFDI, DIOT, tax audits, and complex fiscal requirements. Proven ability to strengthen governance frameworks, manage internal and external audits, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting organizational growth.

Experienced in working within multinational organizations, collaborating with global and regional leadership teams, and influencing key business decisions. Proficient with ERP and financial systems such as SAP, OneStream, and financial analytics tools. Advanced English communication skills required for frequent interaction with U.S.-based stakeholders.
