Descripción

  • Oversee all plant operational activities, including Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, and Customer Service, ensuring safe and efficient 24/7 operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes, improve productivity, and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements (FDA, Cofepris, GMP, ISO).
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve operational and business objectives, fostering a mindset of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the site's financial performance, including P&L accountability, budgeting, and cost optimization to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost, driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to functional leaders, building a high-performance team and strengthening organizational capabilities.

Perfil buscado

A successful General Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience managing plant operations within highly regulated industries such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, food, or chemical manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems (GMP, ISO), and regulatory compliance (FDA, Cofepris, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage operations in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Solid experience in financial management, including P&L ownership, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Strong leadership and people development capabilities, with experience managing medium to large teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to interact effectively with international stakeholders.
