Guardar vacante Volver a la búsqueda Descripción Resumen Empleos SimilaresLead LATAM tax strategy across a complex manufacturing organizationDrive governance, transfer pricing and tax transformation initiativesSobre nuestro clienteOur client is a leading multinational manufacturing company with a strong presence across Latin AmericaDescripciónReporting to the Global Head of Tax, the LATAM Tax Director will lead the overall tax strategy and governance framework across Latin America while ensuring compliance, risk mitigation and value creation throughout the region.Key responsibilities include:Lead the regional tax strategy aligned with global policies and governance.Act as the primary tax advisor for LATAM leadership and business stakeholders.Oversee corporate income tax compliance across multiple Latin American jurisdictions through external advisors.Ensure accurate tax reporting, provisions, filings and statutory compliance.Lead regional tax accounting and support quarterly and annual reporting processes.Oversee transfer pricing governance, documentation and cross-border transactions.Manage indirect tax matters including VAT, withholding taxes and customs-related tax issues.Lead tax audits, controversy matters, assessments and negotiations with tax authorities.Identify tax risks while developing strategies to mitigate exposures and maximize value creation.Support restructuring projects, legal entity changes, business transformations and strategic initiatives.Partner with Finance, Legal, Treasury, Controlling and Operations to integrate tax considerations into business decisions.Strengthen tax governance, internal controls, reporting and KPI monitoring.Drive process standardization, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.Lead and develop the regional tax team while coordinating external service providers and cross-functional stakeholders.Influence senior leadership across multiple business units within a complex matrix organization.Perfil buscadoWe are looking for a senior tax professional with extensive multinational experience leading tax operations across Mexico and Latin America.The successful candidate should have:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law or related field.12+ years of progressive tax experience within multinational organizations.Solid experience leading tax functions across Mexico and Latin America.Strong knowledge of corporate income tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing and international taxation.Experience managing tax audits, tax controversy and regulatory matters.Previous experience within manufacturing, automotive or other complex industrial environments.Strong knowledge of IMMEX, maquila regulations and transfer pricing.Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders in matrix organizations.Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating external advisors.Excellent analytical, communication and executive presentation skills.Fluent English and Spanish are required.
