We are seeking a Transportation Operations Manager to lead the comprehensive management of a high-volume transportation operation, including fleet, drivers, maintenance, and customer service. The position will also be responsible for customer management, operational reporting, and supporting the analysis of costs and pricing proposals for transportation services.

Mexican company operating in the Transportation and Distribution industry, based in Nuevo León, with a high-volume operation and a significant transportation fleet.

Descripción

  • Lead the operation and administration of a fleet of approximately 350 units.
  • Oversee drivers, fleet operations, maintenance, and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with operational KPIs and service-level agreements.
  • Manage customer relationships and address operational escalations.
  • Prepare and present operational results to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service levels, and resource utilization.
  • Participate in identifying the cost components required to develop economic proposals for transportation services.
  • Monitor an operation handling approximately 10,000-12,000 shipments per month.
  • Lead, develop, and coordinate the operational team.

Perfil buscado

To be successful in this position, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field.
  • Experience managing transportation operations and fleets.
  • Experience overseeing vehicles and drivers at scale.
  • Proven experience managing and communicating directly with clients.
  • Ability to present operational results, KPIs, and manage escalations.
  • Knowledge of transportation costs, pricing, or cost structures for transportation services.
  • Experience leading and developing operational teams.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
