As part of its continued expansion in Mexico, the company is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead a new complex manufacturing operation.DescripciónThe Plant Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership, operational performance, and continuous improvement of the manufacturing facility. This position will oversee all plant functions, including Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, EHS, and Materials Management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer expectations.The successful candidate will bring a strong combination of electrical manufacturing and metal-mechanical manufacturing experience, with expertise managing engineered-to-order, project-driven, or high-mix/low-volume operations.Key responsibilities include:Lead all plant operations, ensuring performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, Inventory, and Customer Satisfaction metrics.Develop and execute the site operating strategy aligned with business growth objectives.Drive accountability, operational discipline, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.Lead manufacturing operations involving sheet metal fabrication, welding, structural assembly, industrial painting, mechanical assembly, electrical installation, wiring, controls integration, testing, and final product integration.Partner closely with Engineering and Program Management teams to ensure manufacturing readiness for new products, customer projects, and capacity expansion initiatives.Drive New Product Introduction (NPI), production transfers, process improvements, and operational scalability.Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing tools including 5S, Visual Management, Standard Work, Root Cause Analysis, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.Improve plant efficiency, labor productivity, throughput, quality performance, and manufacturing flow.Establish and maintain a strong safety environment while ensuring compliance with regulatory and environmental requirements.Develop and coach a high-performing leadership team while building organizational capability and succession plans.Act as the primary operational representative for key customers and lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure customer commitments are achieved.Perfil buscadoA successful Plant Manager should have:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.MBA or Master's Degree is a plus.10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.At least 5 years in a Plant Manager, Operations Manager, Manufacturing Director, or equivalent senior leadership role.Solid understanding of metal-mechanical manufacturing processes:Sheet Metal FabricationWelding ProcessesMachiningPainting and Coating OperationsMechanical AssemblyAs well as experience with:Electrical AssemblyIndustrial WiringElectrical Testing & ValidationProven success leading plant growth, operational transformation, capacity expansion, or manufacturing transfers.Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.Advanced English communication skills.Qué OfrecemosOpportunity to lead a growing manufacturing operation within the electrical industry.Relocation support available for exceptional candidates currently based anywhere in Mexico.High visibility role with significant impact on operational strategy and business growth.Dynamic environment focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.Competitive compensation and benefits package.ContactoNatalia CisnerosIngresar referencia para vacanteJN-082026-7090343Descripción de la vacanteSectorIngeniería y manufacturaSub SectorGerente / Director de PlantaIndustriaIndustrial / ManufacturingUbicaciónTijuanaTipo de contratoPermanenteNombre del consultorNatalia CisnerosReferencia de la vacanteJN-082026-7090343
