Strategic and operational leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement and supplier management for a Tier 1 automotive supplier. This includes sourcing, supplier negotiations, cost reduction strategies, supply chain risk management, and ensuring the seamless delivery of direct and indirect materials to support manufacturing and business operations.

Descripción

Lead the global purchasing strategy
Define and execute a purchasing strategy aligned with company goals and automotive customer expectations, focusing on cost optimization and value improvement.

Manage strategic supplier relationships

Select, evaluate, and develop suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, delivery reliability, and compliance across regions.

Drive cost control and negotiations

Lead contract negotiations, cost analysis, and sourcing strategies to achieve cost reduction targets and manage raw materials effectively.

Lead and develop the purchasing team

Build and manage a high-performing global team, fostering collaboration and alignment with engineering, quality, and manufacturing.

Ensure operational continuity, risk management, and compliance

Mitigate supply chain risks, handle disruptions, and ensure adherence to regulatory, ethical, and sustainability standards.

Perfil buscado

NON NEGOTIABLE: at least 10 years of Tier 1 automotive experience.

Bachelor's Degree and desirable MBA

Advanced English level. Advanced negotiation and influencing skills
Proven track record in leading complex negotiations and achieving significant cost savings.
