Descripción

  • Lead and develop a team of approximately 20-25 purchasing professionals responsible for raw materials and resale categories.
  • Drive purchasing operations to ensure material availability and support uninterrupted manufacturing activities across U.S. operations.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators, including supplier performance, delivery metrics, inventory levels, and purchasing effectiveness.
  • Partner closely with manufacturing, supply chain, planning, logistics, and operations teams to align purchasing strategies with business needs.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve service, communication, and operational results.
  • Drive accountability, continuous improvement, and best practices across the purchasing organization.
  • Support forecasting and planning activities to maintain inventory health and optimize material flow.

Perfil buscado

To apply for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain teams within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience leading teams of buyers and developing high-performing organizations.
  • Strong background in purchasing operations, supplier management, and material planning for raw materials and resale products.
  • Demonstrated experience tracking and improving KPIs related to supplier performance, delivery metrics, inventory, and purchasing effectiveness.
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel occasionally to the United States.
  • Advanced English.
