Descripción

  • Lead the plant's quality function, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949, customer-specific requirements, and internal quality standards.
  • Manage incoming inspection, process quality controls, and final product validation activities.
  • Drive customer quality performance, responding effectively to quality concerns and ensuring robust corrective actions.
  • Coordinate audits, certifications, and compliance activities related to automotive industry standards.
  • Oversee supplier quality performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operation.
  • Partner with production, engineering, logistics, and corporate teams to ensure successful launches of new programs.
  • Build and develop a high-performing quality organization focused on accountability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
  • Support company objectives through data-driven decision-making, root cause analysis, and proactive risk management.

Perfil buscado

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Automotive Quality.
  • Strong experience managing quality systems and customer requirements within automotive manufacturing..
  • Deep knowledge of automotive standards including IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and VDA 6.3.
  • Experience leading internal, customer, and certification audits.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Customer-facing experience with OEMs and/or Tier 1 suppliers.
  • Advanced English communication skills and the ability to collaborate with international teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
  • Experience in automotive interiors, seating systems, leather, textile manufacturing, or safety-critical products is highly desirable.
  • SAP experience preferred, though not mandatory
