The role of Senior Financial Analyst is a talented and enthusiastic finance leader. This individual is a key partner to manufacturing leaders to help teach financial acumen and drive operational and financial performance for the site. Responsibilities include month end close, financial reporting and analysis, and regular partnering with plant operations to drive success. This is an on-site position.
  • 5+ years of accounting/finance experience. Cost Accounting experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience within a manufacturing or maquiladora environment.

Descripción

The main responsibilities are to:

  • Educate plant leadership team on impact of operational decisions and the impact on financial results
  • Respond timely and thoughtfully to ad hoc financial requests
  • Prepare and review operational key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements along with deep analytics of plant performance
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements along with deep analytics of plant performance
  • Participate in daily/weekly stand up meetings driving production and monthly operational meetings
  • Oversee the monthly financial close process for the plant, including account reconciliations
  • Prepare and prepare yearly financial target

Perfil buscado

A successful Senior Financial Analyst should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • Strong Excel skills for financial modeling are a must
  • Desire to be in the plant/on the manufacturing floor on a daily basis
  • Well grounded in ERP systems and financial reporting tools
  • Ability to work cross functionally and an ability to influence at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced, quickly changing environment
  • Highly motivated, self-aware, collaborative, and responsive
  • Cost Accounting Experience
  • Good communication skills with an ability to explain complex issues in an understandable way; English >80% written and verbal
