We're looking for a Technical Buyer to lead the sourcing and procurement of critical maintenance spare parts, equipment, and services that keep manufacturing operations running efficiently. This role combines supplier development, contract negotiation, import coordination, and stakeholder management across multiple manufacturing sites.

Descripción

  • Lead the procurement of maintenance spare parts, industrial equipment, and technical services.
  • Develop and manage relationships with local and international suppliers.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing strategies, and service contracts.
  • Coordinate sourcing activities and supplier qualification processes.
  • Support import planning by considering lead times, transportation methods, and operational requirements.
  • Work closely with maintenance, operations, warehouse, and technical teams.
  • Monitor inventory availability and support critical spare parts strategies.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives while ensuring business continuity.
  • Manage one direct report and collaborate with warehouse leaders across multiple sites.
  • Utilize SAP to support procurement, inventory, and purchasing processes.
  • Participate in supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Office schedule (Monday-Friday) with availability to support urgent operational requirements outside regular business hours when needed.

Perfil buscado

If you have experience managing technical procurement for industrial maintenance, coordinating critical spare parts inventories, negotiating with suppliers, and supporting production continuity in manufacturing environments, we'd like to hear from you. You'll combine hands-on procurement responsibilities with team leadership and multi-site coordination.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Technical Procurement, MRO Purchasing, Maintenance Procurement, or Industrial Sourcing.
  • Strong experience purchasing maintenance spare parts, industrial equipment, and technical services.
  • Advanced English, able to negotiate and communicate with international suppliers.
  • SAP experience is required.
  • Proven experience in supplier sourcing and contract negotiation.
  • Understanding of international procurement processes, import lead times and logistics considerations.
  • High level of ownership, autonomy, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Valid visa and passport.
  • Availability for domestic and international travel.
