The Supply Continuity & Vendor Performance Manager will be responsible for ensuring supplier commitments are met, driving material availability, and preventing supply disruptions across North American manufacturing operations. The role combines supplier performance management, purchase order follow-up, shortage mitigation, and cross-functional coordination to protect production continuity and service levels.

Descripción

    • Monitor supplier commitments and ensure material availability to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
    • Follow up on open purchase orders, resolve shortages, and coordinate recovery plans with suppliers.
    • Manage supplier performance through scorecards, KPI reviews, and corrective action plans.
    • Collaborate with Procurement, Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to mitigate supply risks.
    • Analyze supplier performance trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply base.
    • Maintain visibility of critical shortages, overdue deliveries, and supply chain exceptions.
    • Support Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities and supplier performance reviews.
    • Utilize SAP, Excel, and reporting tools to manage supplier commitments and operational performance.



Perfil buscado

A successful Supply Continuity and Vendor Performance Manager should have:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Materials Planning, Supplier Management, or Manufacturing Operations.
    • Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, automotive, heavy manufacturing, HVAC, or engineered products environments.
    • Proven experience managing supplier performance, material availability, shortages, delivery commitments, and supply continuity initiatives.
    • Strong background in supplier follow-up, inventory management, purchase order execution, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
    • Advanced SAP and Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI experience is a plus.
    • Advanced English communication skills and experience collaborating with international teams and suppliers.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship management capabilities, with the ability to drive supplier accountability and operational improvements.
