Descripción

  • Oversee end‑to‑end accounting activities for several legal entities in Mexico, ensuring financial information is accurate, timely and consistent with local and international accounting frameworks.
  • Drive the preparation, review and release of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local accounting requirements, including monthly and year‑end close processes.
  • Lead, coach and performance‑manage the accounting team, promoting accountability, capability development and robust internal controls.
  • Act as the primary liaison for internal and external audits, coordinating audit activities and managing interactions with auditors and external advisors.
  • Manage core general ledger processes, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and provisions, foreign exchange revaluations and intercompany/service invoicing as applicable.
  • Partner closely with tax and finance stakeholders to address regulatory inquiries and support compliance with statutory and corporate requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, standardization and compliance across accounting operations, in line with corporate policies and best practices.



Perfil buscado

  • Based in Puebla or willing to relocate on a permanent basis (relocation package provided).
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Advanced conversational English.
  • Recent experience within global manufacturing organizations.
  • More than 5 years of experience in financial accounting, including preparation and analysis of financial statements and month‑end closings, in managerial roles leading teams.
  • Practical knowledge of IFRS and basic tax principles.
  • Hands‑on experience working with SAP as an ERP system.
