Descripción

  • Maintain, update, and enforce the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO standards.
  • Establish and standardize inspection criteria, SOPs, and quality control checklists for electrical products.
  • Oversee incoming inspection of critical components (breakers, busbars, relays, enclosures) to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
  • Monitor in-process assembly, focusing on key quality parameters such as torque specifications, busbar alignment, clearance/creepage distances, and wiring integrity.
  • Supervise and validate Factory Acceptance Testing and routine testing, including:
    • Dielectric / High-potential (Hi-pot) testing
    • Insulation resistance testing (Megger)
    • Contact resistance testing (Ductor)
  • Implement and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurring issues and improve manufacturing performance.
  • Build and lead a quality team (engineers, inspectors, technicians) to support production ramp-up from initial volumes to full-scale manufacturing.

Perfil buscado

A successful Quality Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Electromechanical Engineering or similar.
  • 5-7 years of QA/QC experience in electrical manufacturing.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience managing teams and driving decisions in production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of ANSI/IEEE, UL (891, 1558), ISO standards, plus electrical schematics and assembly processes.
  • Hands-on experience with high-voltage testing (Hi-pot, Megger, Ductor), quality methodologies (CAPA, RCA), and advanced English.
